Another dramatic case of choking at school. A few days ago, a 9-year-old girl died in this way after choking on a candy. Now, a boy from Złotoryja (Lower Silesia Province), who was a year older, was resuscitated. He choked on a small toy, probably a game piece. His condition is very serious.

A 10-year-old from Złotoryja is in hospital after choking on a small toy, Radio ZET has learned. The child was resuscitated, and an emergency medical service helicopter arrived on the scene. The police and prosecutor’s office are investigating the case.

The drama took place on Thursday, February 27 in Złotoryja at around 2 p.m. A 10-year-old boy choked on a small toy at a local school. Radio ZET reports that the child was resuscitated for an hour. He was transported to the hospital by an LPR helicopter. According to the station, the boy is a patient of a care center in Złotoryja.

Upon arrival, paramedics immediately began life-saving measures on the student, including cardiopulmonary resuscitation. The service reports that a second team of paramedics secured the scene and coordinated the landing of the Air Ambulance. The 10-year-old was taken to the helicopter after approximately 70 minutes.

Radio ZET reports that the injured boy is in hospital after Thursday’s incident. His condition is very serious. Investigators have taken up the case.
