On Thursday, the pop star trolled her longtime friend with an ostensibly sweet social media post, praising his highly anticipated film, Deadpool & Wolverine.

“Over the past few years I have watched one of my best friends on this planet pour every bit of his heart, soul, sweat, time, energy, jokes, pain, joy, rebellion, darkness, and magic into this film,” Swift wrote on her Instagram Stories. “He’s created the best work of his life, and this film feels like an actual joy portal, a wild escape from reality, and an abs sandwich. I don’t know how he did it.”

While one might assume Swift was referring to Reynolds — the star, co-writer, and executive producer on the film — her post came with a plot twist. She ended her praise by adding, “But that’s just Hugh for you!”

The note was accompanied by a photo of Swift and Wolverine himself, Hugh Jackman, posing side-by-side, while accompanied by Reynolds, his wife Blake Lively, and Deadpool & Wolverine director Shawn Levy.
