Man Who Spent $70,000 On Tattoos Shares ‘Unrecognisable’ Before Photos Without Ink
Quest Gulliford’s tattoo journey has caught the attention of countless people online, leading many to say he looks completely different from before.
Tattoos are pretty common these days, and it’s not unusual to see someone sporting one or more tattoos.
Yet, there are individuals who take their passion for tattoos to another level, decorating their entire bodies with intricate designs.
People are always intrigued by the before and after stories of those who dive deep into the world of tattoos.
The individual known as ‘Black Alien’ became a sensation by revealing he was once considered a ‘very sexy guy’.
And ‘Britain’s most tattooed woman’ surprised many by showing her appearance with her tattoos concealed.
Quest Gulliford is another such person who has shared his remarkable transformation, which he admits has cost him quite a bit of money.
Gulliford, who triumphed over Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in seventh grade, has used tattoos as a way to symbolize his journey through a serious and rapidly spreading cancer, as described by the NHS.
His collection includes meaningful tattoos such as a purple ribbon for cancer awareness and a cross on his chest accompanied by the phrase ‘God First’.
After overcoming his illness, Gulliford felt invincible and chose to express this feeling through extensive body art, going as far as to tattoo his eyeballs.
Last year, Gulliford, who boasts over 230,000 followers on Instagram, shared that the process of having the whites of his eyes turned black took a long time to consider—six years to be exact—and was quite costly.
He elaborated in a video that after much deliberation, the procedure, which cost $5,000 per eye, required him to keep his eyes open while pigment was injected four times per eye.
Reflecting on the experience on TikTok, Gulliford mentioned, “After each injection, the artist would gently spread the pigment. Now, it’s there to stay.”
Despite reaching what some might see as the limit of body modification, Gulliford is enthusiastic about continuing to add more tattoos, even when people suggest he’s run out of space.
He confidently declares there’s still room for more.
Gulliford left his followers in awe by posting pictures from before his extensive tattoo work began.
His transformation has been met with a wave of admiration in the comment sections of his posts.
Fans have expressed their amazement and support, with one saying: “It’s great to see your transformation unfold, Thanks for sharing.”
Another fan praised him as “one awesome guy to get your body suit.”
Comments range from calling his journey “so amazing” to describing him as “Dope as f***. Inspiring dude,” and another admirer complimented, “Great work of art. I love watching your beautiful transformation. You are beautiful inside and out.”
