According to the Financial Times, citing sources close to the matter, Vladimir Putin is said to have made a proposal to stop the invasion of Ukraine on the current front line.

During a recent meeting in St. Petersburg with U.S. special envoy Steve Witkoff, Putin reportedly declared that Moscow could abandon its claims to the territories of four partially occupied Ukrainian regions that remain under Kiev’s control.
